Return Policy and Shipping Information

Our online boutique is intended to be an extension of our Customer Service Experience.  Our online boutique is built on our Basic Best Sellers.  The best advice we can offer our customers is to purchase products and sizes that have been a “perfect fit” within the last 12-18 months or call us to confirm your recent size. Lingerie sizing can differ from style to style, from manufacturer to manufacturer. We highly encourage you to come into our boutique if you feel your size may have changed. Our qualified fitters are always on hand to be of “supportive service” to you.

Availability and Pricing of Products

Due to the fluctuating Canadian dollar, Inside Story reserves the right to change pricing without notice.

Our mission is to get your order to you as fast as we possibly can. Our inventory levels are updated in real time, but there is a possibility that your item is out of stock. This may result in a slightly longer delivery window.  We will communicate with you should this be the case.

Shipping and Handling

FREE SHIPPING in Ontario on orders $250 and over before tax. Anything under $250 will be charged a $15 flat rate for shipping.

FREE SHIPPING in Canada on all orders $250 and over before tax. All orders under $250 will be charged a flat rate of $15-$20 for shipping.

Inside Story Fine Lingerie ships online orders within Canada only. We will ship your order via Canada Post within 24-48 hours of receiving the order, pending availability.  Shipping business hours are from Monday through Saturday, holidays excluded.

What You May Expect – Shipping Days

  • The Maritimes: 4-7 Business Days
  • Ontario and Quebec: 2-3 Business Days
  • Manitoba and Saskatchewan: 3-5 Business Days
  • BC and Alberta: 4-7 Business Days
  • Territories:  6-7 Business Days

Exchanges and Returns

We hope you are delighted with your purchase! Should you wish to return your purchase, please be aware of the following:

  • For hygiene reasons, underwear, bodysuits, swim and shapewear are non-returnable and FINAL SALE.
  • Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. Inside Story Fine Lingerie will assume shipping costs if we have erred in any way with regards to processing or shipping.
  • The Inside Story return policy applies to our Online Store – we do not offer refunds.  We will happily exchange (unworn items with tags on, excluding panties or shapewear) or issue store credit valid for 6 months with the original receipt. You have 2 weeks on shipped items, from delivery date to claim a return.
  • Promotional and sales items are FINAL SALE.

 We accept in-person returns on online orders 2 weeks from delivery date. You will require your original invoice. The item/items to be returned must be:

  • Unworn
  • Not damaged
  • Have all original tags ON
  • Be free of stains and/or scent

*We reserve the right to decline an intimate apparel return if even one of the above criteria are not met. It’s imperative to be 100% certain of your size before ordering. We are happy to check your Customer Profile to make sure that you are ordering the correct size.  Please call us at the store you last purchased the item you are ordering online and we will be more than happy to assist you with your size.
